Cerimon House is a truly unique event space located in the heart of the vibrant Alberta Arts District of Portland, Oregon. The building is regularly a-buzz with diverse and innovative programming, and is a cultural hub where people connect through the arts, education, exploration, and celebration - and all within an inclusive, culturally-plural, and nonviolent convening space.
Cerimon House curates conversations among a wide range of citizens, to deepen understanding and engage the hearts and minds of those in attendance. Hosting your event here supports our mission as an organization while offering you a gorgeous experience.
Our ongoing programming: COMMUNITY...gatherings that focus on the healthy civic life of the population. CREATIVITY...the cultural arts brought to a vivid life in performance, song, word, dance, and craft. CURIOSITY...educational classes, workshops, and conferences for students of all ages. CEREMONY...various & unique celebrations in a place of inclusivity and kindness.

Our venue has a 10:00p.m. curfew, so guests must depart the building by 10:00pm. Staff and caterers must finish their load-out activities by 11:00pm. We sit within a residential zone, and adore our neighbors. And so this curfew works-out for all involved.
Yes. The building has the most up-to-date heating & A/C system. It is also zoned, so different areas can be controlled for client comfort.
Yes, our building is ADA compliant. We have a ramp for outside access to the building, as well as four ADA compliant bathrooms. We recently hosted an event with 14 patrons in wheelchairs, and it was a great success. Our bathrooms are wonderfully designed and fully compliant.
