Normandie Motel is an iconic Wollongong building. Built in 1946 as a Private Hotel, and evolving into a Guest House then Motor Inn, and now motel accommodation. There’s something particularly charming about staying in a place that’s been part of the city’s history. As one of the oldest motels in Wollongong, Normandie Motel is a familiar landmark along Bourke Street. It’s easy to find, even if it’s your first time in the area.
