Overlooking the spectacular Swan River in Applecross, Heathcote is a unique site offering uninterrupted views of the City and is set among beautifully restored heritage buildings and landscaped gardens.

Within the historic buildings, there is a Cultural Centre, Museum, Gallery, Restaurant and rooms for hire. The reserve is often busy with family picnics due to the large ship inspired playground.

Park facilities: BBQ facilities and toilets, footpaths and benches, Playground. Wedding Ceremonies are the only booking that will be accepted at this reserve. A maximum of up to 100 guests is permitted, but we recommend 60-80 guests. This is a busy location, which can sometimes make parking difficult.

There is very limited shelter at Heathcote Reserve, so we recommend hiring a building as backup for your ceremony, in the unfortunate case of bad weather. There are a number of rooms available for hire within the buildings located at Heathcote Reserve.

Heathcote has spectacular views, landscaped grounds, a unique children’s playground and barbeque facilities. Venues are suitable for small group meetings, seminars, workshops and small functions. All rooms have a two hour minimum hire. Set up and clean up must be done within the time of hire, not outside of the booking. Room viewings are available by appointment during office hours (subject to availability).
