Capers Guesthouse And Cottage is located in 2859 Wollombi Road in the city of Wollombi. Capers Cottage is a luxurious, romantic and cozy self-contained house in the Hunter Valley for small groups of up to 8 guests or it is perfect for couples. Privately located, the cottage has wide sweeping verandahs, an open fire for chilly winter evenings and a delicious country breakfast hamper is included in the tariff. Guests staying in the cottage also have use of the pool. Only a short walk to the local village and tavern, Capers Cottage offers family-friendly self-contained accommodation.

Our six suites are large, luxuriously furnished, all have ensuites and are serviced daily, gorgeous. Three have Spa Bathrooms and one of these has an open fire for that delicious romantic ambience, the other three, known as our Garden Suites, have either king or queen beds and also gorgeous.

Capers Guesthouse has three Spa suites opening onto the verandah and enjoy a vista of the Wollombi Valley; each has an ensuite with a romantic spa bath to delight in. One spa room has a king bed with an open fire for that touch of romance on a cold winter night and the other two have queensized beds. Garden suites enjoy expansive views of the manicured gardens surrounding the guesthouse. Each ensuite shower room has fluffy white towels and luxury toiletries.

A function at Capers for 20 people or more guarantees exclusive use of the site for the duration of the event including a 2pm check in and midday check out. An occasion in the country comes with many benefits and some responsibilities. Capers processes all waste water on site and we rely solely on rain for fresh water. You can understand that a large number of guests on site can place some strain on these resources, so for that reason we only hold small weddings that are for the guests in the house and cottage.
