If you are after something a little smaller for that mid-week meeting look no further than our Level Two Meeting Room. This space offers the perfect location equipped with all your meeting needs. Able to cater for up to 12 guests, this light filled space offers a great alternative for your next meeting. 

This central Sunshine Coast location has many nearby accommodation options and offers countless stunning photo opportunities. All within 15 minutes of the airport and our private courtesy bus available for you and your guests, Maroochy Surf Club is a great option for your next event. 

PARKING - There is plenty of free parking around the club. Be sure to leave plenty of time on weekends as our popular spot fills up fast!

COURTESY BUS - Leave the keys at home, our free courtesy bus provides a door to door service for guests of Maroochy Surf Club. Bookings are taken on the day of the event.

TAXI - The taxi collect and drop off area right outside the building. One of our reception staff will be able to call one for you.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT - Buses 600,610 and 612 are all within 200m walking distance.

We absolutely have Wi-Fi available. Your event manager will provide these details to you on the day.
There is plenty of free parking close to the Maroochy Surf Club. Please be sure to leave extra time to find a park on Weekends and School Holidays as we get very busy!
You are welcome to bring your own decorations. Please be sure to remove these after your event to avoid a cleaning charge.
Events of 70 or more guests that have a bar tab or package that is over 3 hours will require security. Security is a charge of $52.00 per hour with a minimum 4hr call
While you are welcome to style the wedding yourself, we do not recommend doing so. We supply basic linen and napkins for the table and our standard furniture.
We do not allow for styling to be done the day prior to your event or stored on site so any decorations will need to be done on the morning of the wedding and removed immediately after. Our exclusive stylists Splash Events are incredible at what they do and very affordable. The ease and peace of mind of having a stylist is worth it!

We can absolutely cater for all dietaries. Please note, for dietaries with severe allergies we recommend bringing self-catering as while care will be taken in
preparation of these items, we cannot guarantee the items will be free from any and all allergens.
Can I set the room up before this starts? Your hire period includes your set up and pack down times, so if you require extra time to do so we recommend our 8-hour
hire.
Yes, we have special kids' meals available. Please advise the number of children when booking.
We do not allow for external catering.
In the regrettable circumstance that a Client cancels or postpones an event, Maroochy Surf Club shall be entitled to the following payment:
• Cancellations made up to 28 days prior will receive a full refund, minus a 10% administration fee.
• Cancellations made after 28 days prior will not receive a refund of the Room Hire
• Cancellations made 14 days prior will not receive a refund of Room Hire and will incur a 50% charge for all event costs
• Cancellations made 7 days prior will not receive a refund of any event costs
Absolutely, your event manager will work with you to create the perfect layout for your event.
Yes, please ask your event manager for a full list of our preferred suppliers.
We do not have a minimum spend. You are charged for your venue hire fee with all food, beverage and additionals on top of this.
There is plenty of nearby accommodation. Our preferred accommodation is AquaVista that offer great rates to guests of Maroochy Surf Club. Ask your event manager to arrange this for you for further discount.
Yes, we do require all decorations and items to be removed from the space after your event. Should you need to arrange
next day collection please speak to your event manager.
The Maroochy Surf Club closes as 12am, last drinks will be called 30 minutes before this time to ensure guests have exited by this time. Please be sure to note how long you have hired the venue to ensure you are able to run to this time!
You are more than welcome to come and view the spaces we have available. Please be sure to arrange an appointment with our event manager before doing so to ensure our room can be viewed.
No, all standard furniture comes with your venue hire. If you would like to hire external furniture please contact our exclusive supplier, Splash Events, to arrange this.
What happens if we do not meet the minimum? Our food and beverage packages note any minimum numbers required. You will be charged for the minimum number if your guest count is below this. You are more than welcome to discuss any custom catering with our event manger.
