The Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre houses a 500-seat tiered theatre and 700-seat auditorium. The state-of-the-art venue boasts a comprehensive computerised sound and lighting control room, a box office, acoustically designed auditorium, hydraulic orchestra pit, raised stage, dressing rooms, 'green room', refreshment bar and designated seating for people with disabilities.

This multi-purpose venue is the ideal setting for a range of events including trade shows, seminars and conferences, meetings, award nights, weddings, performing arts and entertainment.Located right in the centre of Dubbo overlooking the picturesque Victoria Park, the venue is in walking distance to motels, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes. Featuring fantastic sight lines from any seat, approximately 80% of the Theatre auditorium and Theatre foyer is equipped with an induction hearing loop compatible with T-switch hearing aids suitable for musicals and concerts which have the sound desk in the auditorium. Please note it is not available in rows A, B or C due to the close proximity to the stage and speakers.

The Convention Centre is a flat-floor auditorium which can seat 750 theatre style, up to 500 banquet style and is an ideal venue for a range of events including trade shows and exhibitions, weddings, school formals, concerts and award presentations. A dynamic venue in that you can hire the whole auditorium including the Oxley Room and surrounding L-shaped foyer on the eastern and southern sides of the Convention Centre as a whole or independently for smaller functions, hire half the auditorium, the foyers or just the Oxley Room (to the side of the auditorium).

A multipurpose space adjoining the Macquarie Auditorium, the Oxley Room can be utilized as a break out space to the 750 seat Macquarie Auditorium or independently as a smaller meeting or dining room.
