Strathnairn Arts is on the north western rural outskirts of Canberra. Located 900 meters past the Magpies Belconnen Golf Club turnoff, it is a facility which has been used by artists for decades but remains one of Canberra’s best kept secrets.

In the last few years Strathnairn has developed an exciting Artist in residence program, which continues to enhance the artistic working environment at Strathnairn and to encourage greater involvement of members and the public through workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations and other activities.

Strathnairn Gallery, Shop, Cafe and Artist in residence accommodation are set in a converted 1920s homestead on the north-western outskirts of Canberra. The 9 hectares is also host to a Woolshed and Villiage Hall all boasting stunning views towards the Brindabella mountains. Through a membership with Strathnairn artists have access to facilities such as Ceramic Kilns, The Foundry, Studios and Paper Making facilities.
