Royal Canberra is regarded as one of Australia’s best inland courses. Set in the picturesque Westbourne Woods arboretum, the variety of trees, including pines, birch and cedar as well as Australian natives, provides Members and their guests with a sensory experience that matches anything the world of golf can offer. At Royal Canberra Golf Club we understand a wedding is one of the most important of life’s celebrations. We would like to make your celebration a unique event combining happy guests, reunion of family and friends, and a memorable party.

The club is set within the Westbourne Woods, a magnificent arboretum of established trees. The Westbourne Room and Formal Dining Room are renowned for their picturesque views overlooking the 18th and 10th fairways, not to mention the lovely Rose Garden Terrace. The Westbourne and Formal Dining Rooms are available for half day and full day hire. Hire of these facilities is inclusive of notepads, pens, mints and water.

Royal Canberra Golf Club is widely regarded as Australia’s premiere inland golf course. The famous Westbourne layout has hosted many international professional golf tournaments such as the Dunlop International, the ESP Open, the ANZ Tour Championship and most recently the 2013 Australian Women’s Open.

Royal Canberra Golf Club boasts one of the most comprehensive practice facilities in Australia. A short iron range with two greens is available to golfers who want to use their own practice balls. The Royal Canberra short game area caters for all skill levels, featuring two championship-sized putting greens, two chipping greens and a large bunker.
