Creating Menus


Creating a menu within iVvy Venues allows you to create your menus that can be added to your sessions for quotes and consequent bookings.

To create a menu:

  1. Navigate to Venue Set Up > Food & Beverage > Food > Menu
  2. Click on the Add Menu
  3. Enter a Name for the menu
  4. Allocate a Menu Type for the menu such as Breakfast, Lunch, Plated Dinner
  5. Enter a Minimum and Maximum amount of people (pax) that the menu will apply to.
  6. Select Price Type – You can select either

Creating A Menu with a Per Person Price Type

  1. Select Per Person
  2. Add a Price payable Per Person
  3. Add a Cost Per Person if required
  4. Select Yes or No if the price is negotiable
  5. Select Yes or No if the GST is charged Note you can change this in Global Settings.
  6. Select Yes or No if the price can be modified
  7. Select if the Menu will be Viewable On the Marketplace.
  8. If you select yes, enter the Marketplace Name that you wish to be shown on the Venue Marketplace.
  9. Select the Marketplace categories that the Menu will apply to.


     
  10. If necessary change the cost centre from "food" to the cost centre of your choice. 
  11. Upload an image if required of the Menu
  12. Enter a Small Description detailing features of the Menu. This will appear on your Billing Summary and within your Quotes and Contracts. It will also appear in the food section of your BEO. 
  13. Return to the top of the window and click on the Items tab. This will automatically save the Menu.
  14. Click on Add Item.
  15. Click on Add New.
  16. Enter a Name for the menu item.
  17. Note: It is advisable to add a descriptive word before a Menu Item to assist in searching for the item and for presentation on the BEO such as:
  18. Entree, Mains, Hot Canapes Cold Canapes..
  19. Enter a description if required
  20. Enter a Sales Price – Enter a price at $0 as the price will be entered through the menu.
  21. Enter a cost of sales if required.
  22. Enter a Minimum and Maximum amount of people (pax) that will apply to the menu item.
  23. Is Optional – If there is a set range of Menu Items that make the menu that can not be removed, select Optional - No and Can Be Removed – No
  24. Is Optional – If you would like your client to choose from a range of menu items within the menu and would also like your client to see all the items listed in order to make their choice, select Optional - Yes.
  25. Enter the amount in $ that the price of the menu will increase by if the item is chosen. If there is no price increase enter $0
  26. Enter a Minimum and Maximum amount of people (pax) that will apply to the menu item.
  27. Is Optional – If there is a set range of Menu Items that make the menu that can not be removed, select Optional - No and Can Be Removed – No
  28. Press Save.


     
  29. Repeat and enter ALL of the Menu Items that apply to the Menu.
  30. Press Save.

If you wish to change the order of your Menu Items within the Menu, click onto the item you wish to move and drag to the desired position.

Creating A Menu with a Flat Rate Price Type

  1. Select Flat Rate Price Type
  2. Add a Price payable as a Flat Rate.
  3. Add a Flat Rate Cost if required
  4. Select Yes or No if the price is negotiable
  5. Select Yes or No if the GST is charged. Note you can change this in Global Settings.
  6. Select Yes or No if the price can be modified
  7. Select if the Menu will be Viewable On the Marketplace.
  8. If you select yes, enter the Marketplace Name that you wish to be shown on the Venue Marketplace.
  9. Select the Marketplace categories that the Menu will apply to.
  10. If necessary change the cost centre from "food" to the cost centre of your choice. 
  11. Upload an image if required of the Menu
  12. Enter a Small Description detailing features of the Menu. This will appear on your Billing Summary and within your Quotes and Contracts. It will also appear in the food section of your BEO
  13. Return to the top of the window and click on the Items tab. This will automatically save the Menu.
  14. Click on Add Item.
  15. Click on Add New.
  16. Enter a Name for the menu item such as Platter of Selection of Cheese
  17. Note: It is advisable to add a descriptive word before a Menu Item to assist in searching for the item and for presentation on the BEO such as Entree, Mains, Hot Canapes Cold Canapes or Platter
  18. Enter a description if required
  19. Enter a Sales Price such as $75.00.
  20. Enter a cost of sales if required.
  21. Enter a Minimum and Maximum amount of people (pax) that will apply to the menu item.
  22. Is Optional – If you would like your client to choose from a list of menu items within the menu and would also like your client to see all the items listed in order to make their choice, select Optional - Yes. Add an Increase Package Price if the item is chosen.


     
  23. Is Optional – If there is a set of definite Menu Items that can not be removed, select Optional - No and Can Be Removed – No
  24. Enter a Minimum and Maximum amount of people (pax) that will apply to the menu item.
  25. Press Save.


     
  26. Repeat and enter ALL of the Menu Items that apply to the Menu.
  27. Press Save.


If you wish to change the order of your Menu Items within the Menu, click onto the item you wish to move and drag to the desired position.

Creating A Menu with a Total of Menu Items Price Type
(For example for use for a Menu containing various Menu Options)

  1. Select Total of Menu Items
  2. Select Yes or No if the price is negotiable
  3. Select Yes or No if the VAT is charged
  4. Select Yes or No if the price can be modified
  5. Select if the Menu will be Viewable On the Marketplace.
  6. If you select yes, enter the Marketplace Name that you wish to be shown on the Venue Marketplace or Website.
  7. Select the Marketplace categories that the Menu will apply to.
  8. If necessary change the cost centre from "food" to the cost centre of your choice. 
  9. Upload an image if required of the Menu
  10. Enter a Small Description detailing features of the Menu. This will appear on your Billing Summary and within your Quotes and Contracts. It will also appear in the food section of your BEO

  13. Click Add Item.
  14. Click on Add New.
  15. Enter a Name for the menu item such as a Sausage Roll
  16. Note: It is advisable to add a descriptive word before a Menu Item to assist in searching for the item and for presentation on the BEO such as Hot Snack or Cold Snack
  17. Enter a description if required
  18. Add a Sales Price such as $2.50 per roll.
  19. Add a Cost of sales if required.
  20. Is Optional – If you would like your client to choose from a range of menu items within the menu and would also like your client to see all the items listed in order to make their choice, select Optional - Yes.
  21. Is Optional – If there is a set range of Menu Items that make the menu that can not be removed, select Optional - No and Can Be Removed – No
  22. Press Save.
  23. Repeat and enter ALL of the Menu Items that apply to the Menu. These are the items that can be chosen and the total price will be the total of all items chosen.


     
  24. Press Save.

If you wish to change the order of your Menu Items within the menu, click onto the item you wish to move and drag to the desired position.
