The NCC Information Seminar includes presentations from the ABCB, Standards Australia and local Building Control Administrations. They consist of a half-day session, dedicated to the use and application of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) with an additional half day afternoon session focussing on performance solutions to be held in Sydney and Melbourne.
Come along to hear a presentation concerning the application of select BCA provisions to various designs and scenarios. In addition, the session will cover transformational changes planned for NCC 2019, future initiatives, and updates on the CodeMark product certification scheme. This session will also include information on fire safety in high rise buildings.
Standards Australia Update — participants will be provided with an update on recently published standards, as well as standards under development that may be of interest to the building sector.
State Perspective — this session, presented by your local building control administration, will contain information specific to the relevant jurisdiction.
These are new sessions available in Sydney and Melbourne and are dedicated to the use and development of performance-based solutions. Add an afternoon performance session to your existing morning session at a reduced rate for the full day to find out what a performance based code is, how to use it, and how to be innovative and develop performance solutions
Seminar attendees who identified requiring a CPD Attendance Certificate as part of their registration, on the previous page, will receive this at the conclusion of the seminar. Attendance is based on BCA session 9:30am – 12:30pm and Performance session 1:30pm – 4:30pm. For further information, please contact the administrator of your CPD scheme.
