This year we are delighted to announce that with support of Yamaha Music Australia and the Tasmanian Conservatorium, Associate Professor Andrew Legg, Director of the internationally acclaimed Southern Gospel Choir and Director of the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music will direct the 2017 Maryborough Music Conference Gospel Choir. Singers will be immersed in the irrepressible and uncontainable joy that is gospel music while learning repertoire that can form part of any school choral program. Andrew, also an internationally renowned pianist, will lead from the piano and be accompanied by a driving rhythm section. Repertoire will be sourced from smart devices and through traditional rote learning.
