ANZGG Conference

Monday, 6 February 2017 to Friday, 10 February 2017 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

GREYTOWN, Greytown, New Zealand

The ANZGG has organised 16 highly successful conferences since the first at Robertson, New South Wales in 1982. The conferences are held every two years in small towns or unique locations across rural/regional Australia and New Zealand. The meetings are characterised by presentations covering topics throughout the spectrum of geomorphology. The unique feature of this conference is the single-session, which fosters interdisciplinary interactions and discussion in an informal setting.

We invite you to join us in Greytown, New Zealand in February 2017 for the 17th ANZGG conference. Greytown is only a 70-minute drive from Wellington City, nestled in the Wairarapa countryside, adjacent to the Waiohine River and against the backdrop of the Tararua Ranges.

The mid-conference fieldtrips will allow participants to experience some of the best geomorphology the Wairarapa region has to offer and the conference dinner will feature some of the best of local wine and food.

A selection of accommodation and logistical support is available during the registration process, alternatively please use the links provided on the website.

The Massey University Physical Geography Group looks forward to introducing you to Greytown and the Wairarapa!

The ANZGG executive is offering up to three travel grants to early career and student geomorphologists - please click the 'Travel Grants' tab on the right for more information.

Although abstract submission has formally closed, there may be a couple of remaining spaces for oral and poster presentations. Please contact Sam (s.t.mccoll@massey.ac.nz) if you are interested in making a late abstract submission

For further information, please email the conference organiser, Sam McColl.
