Robust, Reliable and Secure
The days of installing software on an expensive servers and technicians is truly dead. Software as a service (SAAS) is the leading method for delivering secure and reliable solutions that you can access anywhere, and iVvy is leading the pack for SAAS in the events industry.
-
You get all software updates as they are released with no installation or downtime.
-
Fully redundant, so no single hardware problems can bring iVvy down.
-
We employ the technical experts that are available 24/7 to work on any issues.

Security you can rely on
Security is more than just user privileges and password policies. It is a multidimensional business imperitive, and one that most businesses could not afford to implement to the level iVvy offers. The security built into the software and at our hosting environment includes:
|
Operational security
-
Managed and patrolled by building control staff 24/7
-
Multiple closed-circuit TV points
-
Secure entries and exits, and limited access areas
-
All passwords are securely encoded using the MD5 cryptographic algorithm which secures passwords so not even iVvy employees are privileged to your confidential password
|
|
Data redundancy and backup
-
All databases and websites are replicated in real time on separate servers on our private subnet and at an offsite location (no access to the public) - so if one server goes down, another can take over
-
Raid-1 or Raid-5 hardware used on all servers
-
All servers are backed up nightly to seperate servers on our private network
|
|
Datacentre security
-
The building maintains a complicated system of fire detection and flame suppression equipment including smoke and heat detectors (which are present in all areas), as well as dry pipe sprinklers in technical areas, dry risers to all floors, and a sophisticated smoke and gas clearance system
-
The building's power supply is maintained through a minimum N+1 redundancy, while the main power is supplied via two 33kV dedicated incomers, a diverse A&B power supply distributor at 11kV via a rotary UPS, and multiple ring main circuits
-
Onsite diesel power generator that can support the centre at full capacity for 24 hours, which is backed up by a two-hour, 24/7 fuel delivery contract
|
|
Application security
-
Can authenticate via Windows Active Directory
-
Restrict login by IP address
-
Force minimum password lengths
-
Maximum login attempts
-
Session timeouts
-
Force session identity
-
Full audit logging
|
|
Network access security
-
Server access is limited to secure protocols
-
Customer backups are stored on separate servers on private (non-routable on the internet) subnet
-
Dedicated firewall services to block unauthorised system access
